How Sentricon® Always Active Works
Installation
Sentricon® Always Active baiting stations are strategically placed around your property, forming a protective perimeter. These stations contain the Always Active bait.
Colony Elimination
Once termites feed on the Always Active bait and then share it with other members of their colony, they spread the active ingredient throughout the colony.
The active ingredient in the bait disrupts the termites' molting process, leading to their eventual demise. As more termites feed on the bait, the entire colony is affected, resulting in colony elimination.
Termite Discovery & Feeding
Subterranean Termites forage in search of food, including cellulose found in wood. When they encounter the Sentricon bait stations, they perceive them as a food source.
Ongoing Protection
Even after the initial colony is eliminated, the Sentricon® Always Active system continues to provide continuous protection by attracting and eliminating new termite colonies that may try to invade your property.

Unlike traditional liquid “barrier only” treatments, Sentricon works inside the colony, long before damage spreads to your home. -
Yes. Sentricon® Always Active is designed to be environmentally responsible and uses a low-impact active ingredient. The bait is housed in secure, underground stations that are inaccessible to pets and children.

Termite activity can be subtle. Warning signs include:
Mud tubes along the foundation or walls
Swarming termites (small flying insects that resemble ants)
Discarded wings near windows and doors
Soft or hollow-sounding wood
Peeling paint or blistered walls
Because termites work silently, many Florida homeowners don’t notice damage until it’s extensive — making yearly inspections essential.
